Do you have any restaurants on site?

Absolutely – this is a multi-restaurant resort catering for breakfast, lunch and dinner.


Are the children’s activities free?

Yes, they are! Our kids’ clubs for 4 to 12-year-olds offers an array of fun games and activities, all carried out in a safe and friendly environment. From sports games and bouncy castles to our popular mini-cinema and mini-disco and a variety of Resort-based activities too from water Zumba to football, archery to mini-golf. There are also organised activities for 13 to 15 year olds and a Teen Zone.

Is there a Doctor on resort?

Yes. A private medical centre is not far from the resort Reception, and is open at certain times: Mon & Fri | 11:30am – 1:30pm In case of an emergency, or if you need a Doctor outside these hours, please do not hesitate to contact Reception, or our onsite security.

Do you Recycle?

YES and we would encourage you to support Wyndham Green, a Wyndham efficiency and green practice program by recycling your household waste.
Please use the colour coded bags provided in your kitchen cupboard to separate plastics (yellow), paper and cardboard (blue) and general waste (black).
These separate bags can then be deposited in our communal recycling points clearly marked in resort.

What other Green Initiatives do you have?

We have the Towel and Linen Reuse Program.

Join us on our Green journey by choosing to reuse your towels and linen during your stay. Here at Wyndham Grand Costa del Sol, in an effort to cut down on cleaning chemicals and water consumption, we will change your towels and linen midweek for seven night stays. For shorter stays, a cleaning service can be requested, and the fee is based on the size of the suite. We use approved Ecolab cleaning products and are working to reduce our impact on the planet by adapting more environmentally friendly service levels.


Is there a fitness centre on site?

The fitness centre is open daily, 9am – 7pm.

Is there a tennis court available?

Yes - you can book a tennis court and equipment from Reception.

Is WiFi available?

Yes – enjoy free, high speed WiFi in the main areas on resort, and in all suites.

Is there free parking on the resort?

Yes - car parking is free. Some resorts offer an enclosed garage; you may be asked for a refundable deposit for the garage key.

Is there an on-site supermarket?

Yes. Our mini-market, Zac’s is open from 8am to 4pm daily. Sam's Pantry, our onsite cafe and deli, is open daily 8am - 6pm.

Can I room charge?

You sure can. Transactions that are room charged is our preferred method of payment.

Where is the nearest cash point?

We have two cash points on the resort, one at the Wyndham resort and another one located opposite the Ramada reception.

Is it possible to exchange money at Reception?

Yes – our money exchange facility is located at Reception. Please bear in mind this facility is strictly limited to cash exchanges, and only for the main currencies.

Which pools can I use on site?

There are various pools dotted around the resort. For information about which pool is nearest to your suite, and/or heated in the colder months, please refer to the swimming pool map.

Do you provide pool towels?

Yes pool towels can be collected from our Guest Service Centre.

Is there a heated swimming pool?

There is one pool accessible to all guests in residence at Wyndham Grand that is heated in winter (November to May) next to Safari restaurant. The Wyndham Grand pools are for residents of Wyndham Grand only.

Getting Around

When are the local markets?

La Cala de Mijas – Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Fuengirola – Tuesdays and Saturdays.

How far is the beach?

Not far – the resort is just a 5-10-minute walk from the beach. Our free resort road train can transport you to and from the nearest access point.

How far away is the nearest town?

Fuengirola town is approximately 2km from the resort.

I didn’t organise car hire but have since changed my mind. Can I hire a car once at the resort?

Yes you can. Our preferred partner is Autos Lido who operate out of the airport, and from within the resort.

Are there any local buses?

Local buses run between Fuengirola and Marbella operate every half hour (every hour and half hour from the main stations, bus number 220), picking up at bus stops located along the motorway. For Marbella, the closest stop is located at the petrol station adjacent to the resort. The C1 train line connects Fuengirola to Málaga, with stops at Benalmadena, Torremolinos, Plaza Mayor and others.

How do I book a Taxi?

Reception will help you book at taxi from the resort. To avoid disappointment, we recommend that you book a taxi to the airport the day before departure.

The cost of a taxi trip is usually determined by a meter; however, the taxi driver may refer to the official listed tariffs, which are available to customers upon request. If in doubt, ask the taxi driver beforehand.

Taxis for more than 4 passengers (minivans) are available on request only, and via prior reservations. Taxi companies cannot guarantee availability of a minivan if requested at the last minute.


What are the directions to Wyndham Reception?


Nearest airport: Málaga, 27 km / 17 miles

Directions by road:
On leaving the airport, follow the signs for the A7 E15 AP7 motorway towards Algeciras/Cadiz. Stay on the motorway by-passing Torremolinos and Benalmádena. As you descend towards Fuengirola, the road forks; take the right-hand side direction towards Fuengirola. WARNING: DO NOT TAKE LEFT HAND CARRIAGEWAY TOWARDS MARBELLA – IT IS A TOLL ROAD. Ignore the exits to Fuengirola. Shortly after Fuengirola you will pass a castle on the left-hand side, and a little further on, a petrol station on the right-hand side. The resort entrance is 300 metres further on. Go up the hill and follow the signs to Wyndham Reception

Directions by Public transport:
From the airport follow the signs to the railway station (within walking distance). The suburban line C1 trains run every 20 minutes from 7.00 am to 11.00 pm (approx.). Heading west, the final stop is Fuengirola. From Fuengirola, take a taxi to the resort, which is 5km away.

What is the check-in procedure?

The official check-in time is 16:00 hrs.

Should you plan to arrive early on your check-in date, please let us know in advance by telephone or email, so we can get your accommodation fully prepared. We always do our best to minimise waiting times.

Complying with Spanish legislation, all guests aged over 16 must present and register their passport at Reception on arrival. A credit or debit card will be requested as a deposit.

What is the check-out procedure?

To prepare the suite for the next occupant, the check-out time is 10:00 hrs on the day of your departure.

You may settle your account at Reception on the day before departure.

Check that you have all your possessions. If you have used the safe, leave it open.

The rest of the resort facilities are at your disposal – including the luggage room, swimming pools, restaurants and bars.

Suite information

Wyndham Grand Costa del Sol is a resort comprising self-catering suites with kitchen amenities and cleaning tools for you to use, enabling you to determine the cleaning frequency of your suite.

Are there ironing facilities in the suites?

All suites have their own iron and ironing board.

Is there a washing machine in the suite?

All suites have their own washing machine.

Do the suites have air conditioning?

All suites are air conditioned.

Are pets allowed on the resort?

Afraid not - pets are not allowed on the resort.

How is rubbish disposed of?

We kindly ask you to dispose of your rubbish at the rubbish collection points, which are shown on the resort map. Please consider the environment and recycle where possible in the bins provided.

Is smoking allowed?

Whereas smoking is not permitted inside our restaurants, it is allowed on the terraces. Within your accommodation, we kindly ask if you do who wish to smoke, please do so on the outside terrace.

Is there a television in the suites?

Good news - every suite has satellite television with international channels.

Is there a room safe in the suites?

For peace of mind, all suites are equipped with a safe.

Is there are a charge for damages?

Please assist us in keeping your suite in good condition and maintaining the standard of the resort accommodation. If anything is broken, missing or damaged within your suite, you must contact Reception immediately.

You may be required to pay for any unnecessary damage that is caused during your stay.

Can I book more than one room?

Yes - you can book up to NINE suites through our website.

How would we best describe the resort?

All the amenities and facilities of a top hotel and excellent customer service yet with the freedom of staying in your own self-catering suite.

At what time can we check in?

The official check-in time is 16:00hrs.
Should you plan to arrive early on your check-in date, please inform us in advance so we can get your suite fully prepared.

Of course. A late check-out is possible for an additional fee and subject to availability. Up to date availability can be made known at check-in.

I am really enjoying my holiday and would like to extend my stay. Is this possible?

Sure is – simply ask Reception to extend your stay for you. Contact them to discuss availability.

What are the bed configurations?

One bedroom suites will have a double bed by default and a sofa bed.

Two bedroom suites will have a double bed, two singles and a sofa bed.

Are cots and highchairs available?

A travel cot, highchairs for babies up to two years, and stair gates can be requested free of charge via Reception.
